Judith A. Waltz
Judith A. Waltz is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Her practice focuses on government investigations, false claims act, corporate integrity agreements (CIAs), bankruptcy, and Medicare and Medicaid counseling. Ms. Waltz works with clients in various areas of the health care industry. She is former co-chair of the firm’s Life Sciences Industry Team, and former vice chair of the Health Care Industry Team. Ms. Waltz is also a member of the Government Enforcement, Compliance & White Collar Defense and Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practices.
Torrey K. Young
Torrey K. Young is an associate and is a member of the Health Care Industry Team. She focuses on health care regulatory compliance and transactional matters. Ms. Young has significant experience conducting internal investigations, responding to government investigations, advising providers regarding compliance concerns, and assisting with managed care contracting issues.
Ms. Young is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Health Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Boston Inn of Court. She is also an active member of the Boston Young Healthcare Professionals and serves on the Prospect Hill Academy Young Professionals Advisory Board.
Ms. Young graduated from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2011), where she was an assistant editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. She jointly earned her master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (M.P.H., 2011) with a certificate in bioethics and health policy. Ms. Young’s undergraduate degree is from Emory University (B.S., high honors, neuroscience and behavioral biology, 2007).
